VII day of Red Española of Composting (Salamanca – Spain)

From 5th to 7th November, VII jornadas Red Española de Compostaje was held in Salamanca(Spain), organised by the Faculty of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences; a meeting and discussion point for all aspects related to organic waste management.

In addition to having an informative panel on how earthworms respond to the presence of agricultural plastic waste in vermicomposting processes; the project coordinator, María José Lopez, participated with the presentation of the biotechnological valorisation of waste with plastics; the compost pile was also explained as a source of plastic degrading microorganisms.
