WORLD MICROBE FORUM

The World Microbe Forum is an initiative of the American Society of Microbiology (ASM) and the Federation of European Microbiological Societies (FEMS)

The aim of the forum is to address the hottest topics in microbiology. These include the role of microbes in climate change and agricultural and food microbiology.

“The role of microorganisms in biorecycling agri-food plastic wastes: RECOVER project” will be the title of the conference in which members of the University of Almeria, in the person of Macarena Jurado, is going to explain the objectives of our project to solve the problems of contamination of agricultural fields with non-biodegradable agro-plastics, and provide sustainable management pathways for the non-recyclable packaging fraction of municipal waste management systems, and will explain all our progress.
