Workshop 24th November – Halt Soil Degradation – Recycling, Biodegradation & Composting

Dedicated to the celebration of World Soil Day, with its campaign slogan “Halt soil salinization, boost soil productivity” Greek Bio- Economy Forum and MSC Bioeconomy Circular Economy Sustainable Development (University of Piraeus) organise the online WorkShop “Halt Soil Degradation – Recycling, Biodegradation & Composting”. The event takes place on 24 November.

In this Forum, in the session –  1, which takes place at 16:20, Prof. Dr. Patrizia Cinelli, Technical Manager of Recover project, Associate Professor, Department of Civil and Industrial Engineering, Pisa University, Italy, will talk about EU project RECOVER – Degradability and biodegradability of commodities plastics.

Prof. Cinelli shares a session with two other projects: EU project MAGIC ( Dr. Efi Alexopoulou, Centre of Renewable Energy Sources and Savings (CRES), Greece) and, EU project FORTE – Rehabilitation of contaminated land using cash crops  (Prof. Dr. Eleni G. Papazoglou, Department of Crop Science, Agricultural University of Athens, Greece).
