LET’S MEET SCIENCE – EUROPEAN RESEARCHERS’ NIGHT 2021

Friday 24 September is the European Researchers’ Night, the most anticipated event of the year that brings research and researchers closer to the general public, promoting excellent research projects across Europe and beyond.

increase the interest of young people in science and research careers and showcase the impact of researchers’ work on people’s daily lives.

Last year’s Researchers’ Night attracted more than 2 million visitors in Europe and worldwilde.

The event is held simultaneously in 371 cities in 30 countries with the direct involvement of 18.000 researchers.

In this forum, under the title ‘The Secret Life of Waste’ (La vida secreta de los residuos), the project will be presented in Almeria (Spain) by one of the the team of the University of Almeria. Recover will be present both in the stand placed in the streets of the Spanish city, as well as in Secondary Schools.

The purpose of the event is to bring the enormous scientific work closer to people, showing the benefits of RECOVER for the whole society.
