Screening and selection of microorganisms for oil-based plastic biodegradation

The objetive of the THESSALONIKI 2021 Conference is to address the important issue of sustainable solid waste management by promoting safe practices and effective technologies including the treatment of solid waste through technology.

In this context, Recover will present the progress it has made so far in the search for enzymes related to plastic degradation within a collection of microorganisms isolated from different environments.

Such activity will be developed by the University of Almeria, with the team member Jesus Salinas as main speaker.
