Associate Professor (2002) – She received her PhD (1996) in Pharmacy. Her research is focused on the study of microorganisms that produce lignocellulose-degrading enzymes and the use of microorganisms for bioremediation. She has been the PI of 3 national projects, leader of UAL-team in 3 EU project and 1 USA project. She published 56 scientific papers and 3 patents.
